It is too variable to tell.

When you say 3WPG, how big is your tank?

Liquid fertilizing? What does that entail?

DIY CO2? Maybe you should upgrade to pressurized.
I have high light dose heavily and pressurized co2 and can trim the first month and have enough start another tank like it.
on 10 gal and whoa pressurized co2? id probably blow up the whole house
it takes about a month depending on the plants.
Get some fast growers and it'll fill up in a week or so. Or at least it'll tell you what you're missing.

get any stem plants.. They're usually fast growers.
How long before a tank starts looking good?
Well, I think its been 2 years plus on mine, and they still don't hold a candle to some of these pros'. ;)
It took over 6 months in my 60g with highlight, pressurized co2. Its impossible to guess unless we know all the plants and every variable.

But you had dwarf hairgrass! lol. That stuff takes forever to grow into a nice lawn.

If you had R. rotundifolia or H. polysperma, for example, it would've taken what....two weeks? ;)
"how long does it take for tank is good nice"

I'm sorry but the title is just too funny. Sounds like a bad anime translation.

"All your tank..."
whoa hahah i didnt even notice that,
"All your tank..."
"Are belong to us"! :icon_smil
I'm convince my tank is never nice look.

Seriously I think "nice" is too subjective. I'm highly critical of my tank and IMO it never looks "nice'. Plants are healthy...algae is minimal, but still I'm not satisfied due to my lack of artistic scaping abilities.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" <<< has never been a more honest statement.
just turn it into a green lush forest it always looks nice
from my limited experience, I would say;
one month to fully cycle
one month for plants to fully acclimate and grow
one month for plants to mature and be trimmed into shape
obviously, if you select slower growing plants or
a low tech tank, the time will be further prolonged.
What kind of fertilizer are you using? Have you tried Yamato Green? i've had REALLY good results with it. I mention it in another thread if you want details. check out http://www.yamatogreen.com
