I've had my plants for about a month now, and while most are doing great (especially the Echinodorus Barthii...1 new leaf a week) the HC doesn't seem to be doing much. It doesn't look like it is dying but it isn't really growing either.

How long should it take to notice some spreading?

My tank is...
10g
28w 6700k Coralife light
eco-complete substrate
Temp at 76, ph ~7.5
DIY CO2

Flourish will only add micronutrients to your tank. You may also need to dose macronutrients (NPK) to get your HC to spread more quickly.

Also, you should ensure that your CO2 levels are optimal (i.e. 30 ppm). This can be easily done with a drop checker in combination with a 4 dkH reference solution.

The eco-complete doesn't provide macros? Sorry, still trying to understand the fertz stuff.

no it does not. it provides very little actually.....

just a suggestion, take a pic of the tank. then take a pic of it the same way, a week later. I think you may be surprised at the progress it has made. Aquascaping is an art that takes time to develop. Sometimes you lose sight of what is actually happening, because 1 thing isnt going as you want.
