I recently moved my 4x4 patch of HC to my 6.6 emmersed tank. Just wondering how long it takes for HC to fill in normally with addition of CO2?

If you are growing it emersed, there is no need to inject additional CO2.

Are you waiting for the HC to carpet your entire aquarium? If so, it may be better to plant each stem individually.

If you are just trying to get the patch just right of the centre to fill in, I would say it would fill in within a few weeks.

Looking good. It just takes time so be patient!
You'll have it completely filled in the middle right within a month.
Don't forget to add watered down fertilizer so there is enough food.
Increasing the amount of time your lights are on is also beneficial as you'll see more growth!

About 1.5 weeks before you intend on flooding the tank with water increase the humidity in the tank as much as possible so transition from emerged to submerged is easy!

XD thanks guys! I hear CO2 injection in emmersed set up will also speed up growth

Hopeully I'll have a decent carpet soon :3 (just on the right side. I'm waiting for the H. Japan to take over the left side)
