Hello. I am treating what I believe is internal parasites in my tank. The fish are behaving and eating normally but have white stringy poo. I've used API Quick Cure according to the package directions and have been soaking food in garlic juice. I tried to coat the food in the medication but don't know if any fish actually ate it.

Have you found Quick Cure to be effective?

How long should it take for the poo to go back to normal?

If Quick Cure doesn't work, can you recommend a different treatment and brand?

Bump to see if anyone knows? I've completed one full course of API Quick Cure and fish still have white poop, although they are still acting normal and nobody has died.

I am not familiar with Quick cure. are you sure it is for internal parasites?
You could try to get a levmisole dewormer. Just go to your local farming coop.
Ask them for a levamisole based dewormer. Preferably one in 99% purity, powder form.

Brand names differ, so I am unable to tell you which for your locale.

You will need a gram scale too as you need to dose 2mg/litre.
Dose tank, cover tank to keep light out.
After 24 hours, vacuum tank floor and replace 75% water

repeat after 3 weeks.

Get some extra fir future quarantines etc...
