So I got a total of 4 banana plants. 3 of them are going crazy and padding the canopy of my tank the 4th will soon get there. I've decided to bring the pads down by slightly wrapping them around my driftwood to bring more attention. to the pads. My tank has a good ways to go but I'm getting there. So I thought this could add a more lush look in the meanwhile.

Looks pretty good, but I'm not sure how long it will stay that way.

Those banana plants are pretty much a water lilly eventually they will put out floating leaves, and those will be a different shape then the underwater leaves.

I still think they are interesting plants, but I think they work best in a riparium/open top tank.
