How does the assassin snail kill its prey ?

Does it have some kind of poison dart or does it strangle them,etc..?

I have seen marine snails with poison harpoons to kill fish.

I have always been curious on how the assassin snail does it.

You are both wrong. It extrude a fine thread from its tail which is then taken into its mouth. The thread is then looped over the head of an intended victim and the end in its mouth is consumed. This pulls the loop tight which either beheads or garrots the victim, which is then consumed at leisure.

If you think that's cool you should watch them lay eggs.
