How do you....

...hang a light fixture? Mine is a Nova light fixture and I want to suspend it above a tank. There are no holes in the casing. I checked both ends of the fixture and there are no usable openings there either. Any suggestions? My intention is to hang it from the ceiling or perhaps brackets extending from the wall. I'm just not certain how to attach it to the light fixture.

Drill a hole... The end caps should unscrew so you can see where you are drilling.
You can drill into the ceiling or the wall. Depending on what came with the fixture, you may need to buy a couple eye hooks and/or brackets. You'll probably want to invest in a stud finder - that way you'll minimize the number of holes you have to drill in order to find something to anchor into.

(sigh) I was afraid of that! LOL

The fixture came with legs so I'll have to hit up the hardware store for whatever I use. But its not the ceiling or wall I'm worried about. I don't want to screw up a $250 light fixture!
