That is not altum, it´s the so called "peruvian" scalare which is very similar to the regular angels. The true Altums come from Colombia. The "snout" is very different and the body is not perfectly round but rather taller. the pattern of body lines is very distinct with two narrow lines and a broad one running from dorsal fin to anal fin. If you look at pictures you will see they are very different

The angels in that auction are what is often called a 'peruvian altum', but it is actually Pterophyllum scalare, and not P. Altum. There are a few varieties of P. Scalare that are a little different looking from each other, from different locations.

Pterophyllum Altum has a taller body, wider stripes, and looks a bit more brownish in color than the silver/black of P. scalare.

You also find P. Leopoldi, which has a longer nose, but otherwise looks like a standard scalare. These are also sold as 'peruvian altum', and 'dumerelli angels'.

This article has pictures of all of the species on the same page, so it could help you learn the differences. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pterophyllum
