Hi,

For Hornwort plants, will it still propragate through division or that only happens if it is anchored in substrate?

If Hornwort is left to float on top, will just get longer? So if you have 6” and it grows to 12”, can you cut it in half and they continue to grow while floating?

I did a bleach dip to get rid of snail eggs, all the leaves shed. Does that mean the hornwort is dead if only the stem is left?

Hornwort is pretty resilient. It is a floating plant, so it doesn't have to be rooted in order to grow well. You should be able to cut it in half and it'll keep growing.

If all the leaves shed, it's probably dead. You can leave it in there a little longer, but it will probably melt and not recover. How strong/long of a bleach dip did you do?

I don’t recall, few drops to 32 oz. Might have been too much. It was okay for few days then it dropped leaves.
