I think this would fit here. So, I have a question.

I'm going to be making homemade Gel fish food, since it's cheaper and better than storebought. But, I have some things that I'm not sure if I can put in the food, namely habanero peppers and mini sweet peppers. Would I be able to put either of those into the food mix for my fish?

No on habanero. Only (some) humans seem to like capsaicin.

Go with seaweed and carrots. That'll give you all vitamins and minerals a criter would need.

Actually birds eat hot peppers. The heat has no affect on them since they don't salivate.

Decades ago I used to make my own flake foods for that very reason. While it was cheaper I found the commercial stuff has more nutrients and was in fact better.
