I'm about to make a homemade co2 tank, do these actually work????, i mean its almost seems to simple to really work properly...but i am willing to try it so that i dont need to shell out 200 bucks for the real thing.

So do they work???

Are you talking about DIY yeast co2? If so, effectiveness will depend on tank size and how well it is diffused and retained in the water. If you are talking about building your own pressurize tank, don't do it.
