I have found 3 or 4 pieces of this stuff in my tank over the last couple weeks. I am guessing it hitch hiked with some new plants.

Anyone have any ideas?

I think that what you've got there is Utricularia gibba. GET RID OF IT. It is invasive and will tangle in with all of your plants and grow like mad. Good luck.

I removed the piece stuck on the cabomba and did a little more looking just for good measure. Well FML, Friday I had another order come in from AZ Aquatic Gardens and all the bunch plants have this stuff completely entangling them. I just spent an hour to get one bunch clean. Looks like it's going to be a long night, 6 more bunches to go. Never ordering from those guys again!
