Does anyone else have this issue? I find myself wanting to go high tech and grow plants like crazy. So I switch to high tech and after a while I get bored/tired of all the work and want to switch back to low tech. So I switch to low tech with tons of moss and focus on the fish. I think I have issues. :wink2:

Maybe I just need to invest in a fish room.

I can def relate on this. Same exact way.

I've tried to adapt all of my equipment so I can switch back and forth without having to really change anything. I will go 6 months with high light, blasting CO2 and ferts.... then get tired of all the trimming. Rip out all of the stems and replace with crypts and ferns.... Another six months and repeat. I wish I had the patience to let a more low tech setup sit for a couple of years and mature.

Same here!

My favorite part is when you're lush and fully planted. then go to lowlight but keep the co2. I get 2+ months of no maintenance beauty before things start to show signs of melting. Then start over.
