Hi Tech Farm?

I get so restless with my 65 gallon aquascape, and my emersed system isn't enough to slake my plant hoarding habit.

Has anyone ever considered a high tech farm tank, bare bottom, with clay pots of aquasoil in it? I envision a way of getting fast growth submerged without the risk roots tangling between species. I think i can fit 21 six inch clay pots in my mr aqua, and grow an organized high light, high co2, EI dosed, forest.

That sounded like what I see in my LFS. It'll definitely work.

people do it all the time. Its no different than a normal hi tech tank. Just no aquascape. Sometimes its fun just to experience growing plants without trying to create a new composition.
