Alright, a few weeks ago I bought and planted a bunch of HG in my 25 gallon. So far it's stayed very brown and doesn't look like it's growing at all. I decided to take it out before it started causing problems. But when I went to remove it, it looks like it's sent out quite a few runners all over the left like of my tank. It all (including the runners) still look pretty rough. Should I stick it out and see what happens? Or should I remove it.

It's a 25 tall walstad, 65 watt PC fixture, DIY co2, flourish comp.

If you don't see fresh bright green on new runners there is something wrong! HG needs to be dense to have much of a presence, if the runners look green they are fine no matter how incredibly puny they look. You could attempt to cut the dead stuff out so you don't have to look at it. Probably be a good idea to use a net to catch the prunings before they get all over the place. And don't worry if you cut green leaves, it is the crown of the plants that matter.
