I have an odyssea cfs500 and an odyssea cfs700..im getting ready to purchase a 20inch house filter.. I will be runnin my co2 tubing down through the middle of the reactor about 5-8 inches....would I be better off installing the reactor on the 500gph canister filter or the 700gph canister filter?

Either really considering they will not push 500 or 700gph. 500 may be safer, I have a mag drive 1800 gph pushing mine t'ed off of course, but it's flow is set by the choke points at the 3/4" unions

I have a Eheim 2262 filter running mine and work's great . Will be tearing it down soon too move to a new house and planning on trying it with out the min bio ball's and see how that works on my next set-up . I would like to try it with my Blue Line 55 HD 1100g Pump and see if it will work of but course I would have to tee off a pressure pump.
the 20 inc hfilter is big enough to run the 500 gph.. i'd extend the tubing as far down as possible though :)
Agreed with the inside tubing length... as far as the sponge goes at the bottom of the tube, should i just wait and see how my co2 is dissolving or just go ahead and do it...i dont want to restrict any flow by it getting clogged up eventually?

mine was still spitting out the small bubbles, fixed by adding sponge inside the reactor.

get a sponge with bigger pores, something like aquaclear sponge.
