I have a 26 gal tank. No Co2 but a dose of flourish excel daily. Light: moderate to moderately bright. I love hornwort! The plant sucks junk out of the water very fat, it grows quickly and looks beautiful (in my opinion), The only thing i dont like of it is that it wont root and breaks or comes loose from the weights and floats all over. Does anyone have any ideas for a plant that will grow like this with what I have (light/flourish excel), will grow quicker, clean the water very good, and wont come loose all the time or break n float all the time? Any help? Thank you in advance.

Make sure you plant it deep in the substrate. It does come undone quite easily when there's no root, but once it takes root, it'll even start to grow sideway on the substrate and send up runner. Then you'll start to hate me n send nasty letters with big words I've never heard off. Yea, it's that annoying.
