help with rex grigg reactor please!

hi im trying to get my rex grigg reactor working and the hole where my co2 line enters isnt perfect. i have applied aquarium silicone but it still is leaking any tips on siliconing this pliable material to the rigid pvc pipe? i want to get this up and running asap! thanks hope to hear something soon!

is it true that silicone wont stick to the pvc or the tubing?

Not well no. I used jbweld or use a marine epoxy on mine to seal the hole. The other thing I do on my reactors is to epoxy a air line fitting/ barb in place so all I have to do is push the hose on to the barb fitting. Hope this helps.
