Not sure if this is even hair algae because all the posts on here show long green hair like strands while this algae is brown hair like strands. I remove this every few days and a i go to town on it with a tooth brush during the weekly water change. Im looking for any tips on how to get rid of it!
Side note: this algae started forming as soon as i bought a canister filter and the flow became much higher than when i had a HOB filter, not sure if that provides any clues but im scared that I will just tear the tank down and give up if i lose this fight with this damn algae
