My L. aromatica and L. cuba are in bad shape but I'm not sure what the deficiency is. What do you guys think? My tank is 50 gal with 54w T5HO 4in above tank, EI dosing, and injected co2.

Also I think I see diatom algae...maybe your dosing too much of something. I had that problem in my tank and started dosing extra iron chelate and all my algae disappeared and my plants started growing like crazy!

i just dose according to dosing regime from sticky in this forum but with no gh booster and extra 1/8 tsp potassium sulfate each time i do macros.

Firs thing is to crank up your co2. I can almost guarantee you that is the root issue.

How do you get co2 into the tank and how do you measure how much you are putting in and how did you arrive at the amount you are currently injecting?

i have a drop checker that is usually green to light green. The co2 goes through ceramic diffuser where it is taken into the intake of my canister filter and then blown back into tank (assuming). Is this a good method of diffusing co2?

I think it's a great method of co2 infusion. I would crank it up and watch for a week. Very rarely when someone is using the EI fert system are one of the macro/macro ferts in short supply.
