Ok as you can see I have what i think to be GDA (maybe not) and ive tried the leave it for 3 weeks and see if it goes away and this is the result still here. Do i now rub it off or will it eventually go away. Ive had it for now hmm around 4 to 5 months off and on but ive always scrapped it off when it got too much tough. Any help would be great. THanks.

It'll help if you give your tank specs: how many watts your are using, CO2 supplementation, doing ferts, size of tank, etc.

That could be green spot algae instead of green dust algae. It's hard to tell from the picture. If it is GSA you could try scraping it all off, then increasing your phosphate dosing.

Opps sorry its a 55g tank with 2 x 55w ahsupply lights on them for 10 hrs injected co2 and only adding flourish excel every so often when i remember. ph was around 7.0 Amonia 0 and Nh at 0

I think it is GDA for sure.
do you dose macros?

no I only add the flourish from time to time no macros. I just want to get rid of this stuff cuase it makes the tank look so crappy.
