i just found several of these on the intake sponge of my filter.. i never seen this before. dont know what they are or anything about them
can anyone help? thanks
i'm probably not helping, and i'm not saying this has the best chance of id'ing it, but i just found out google has this thing if you take a picture and load it it will find others similar to it online. like i said, it's not exactly what it is, just trying to help.
There only around 3cm. I seen one picture of a dragonfly nymph and it looks kinda like it. But all the other pictures they look fatter than what I have.
so i think its a mayfly nymph.. thats what i think it looks like.
i just found a dead mayfly stuck in between the glass in my glass top. and it looks like a sheading to.. so im thinking thats it.
gotcha. with they just develop and fly off? or will they lay more eggs/larva back into my water? i got serveral off my sponge filter but i cant guarantee i got them all. thanks
