My younger sister has FINALLY decided to get rid of the 6 goldfish in her 10g. This will be non-planted, but will have some driftwood. the filter is an Aqua-Tech 10-20, I hope to convince her to get a aquaclear filter. What are some good fish to keep? I have looked into pygmy cories and sparkling gourami, she doesnt want a betta because she would prefer a school of smaller fish.

Lots of small tetras would work. I like black neons, as I find them very hardy. I really recommend harlequin rasboras, too. They are pretty and very hardy and I find them long lived. Also, they are not timid and are always out and about.

why no plants? add atleast some anubias or fern. Plants gives a nice touch to a tank.XD
I know, but she is adamant about not having plants, I have no idea why, but that is what she thinks.
