Just noticed on one of my neon tetra's, about the size of two of their eyes, right in the middle of the body on the blue area, a golden growth on the side of him. This seems to have just happened, as I inspected them this morning.

I guess it looks like a golden, human sized pimple.

I am afraid it is some parasite that will reproduce if it bursts, any ideas??????

most likey a tumor or an internal bacterial infection.. feed him anti-bacterial foods.

What type of anti-bacterial foods? It's midnight here and I won't be back till later tomorrow night. Any suggestions?

I can't seee you fish so I can't say much.. check this site out to see if it matches the symptoms.. A lot of the tumors are incurable.

I think u should definatly put it in a quarantine tank, and if its a tumour, just prepare yourself to get another fish
