I need help starting my planted tank, pretty much all info that would be helpfully like recommendations on lighting and CO2 and such! I need a way to set it up I have just the tank!!

before setting it up, take a stroll through the lighting, equipment, and fertilizing areas of the forum, there are some great stickies along with an FAQ section in the general area. Then ask the questions for clarification on what you read.

it is much easier to help answer questions, than to setup a system for someone that may have different goals.

I found this thread to be highly helpful for lighting and highly recommend giving it a thorough read. I have it bookmarked and refer to it often.

Beyond that, I +1 Noahma's advice. Take some time to read the stickies and then search through the Nano forum and make notes of your favorite tanks... then ask questions about the stuff that interests you or find confusing.
