I have 150gal, with pressurized carbon and 8x t5ho lights, i run 4 at a time. I just shortened my daytime cycle to 6 hours. 3 hours of daylight (6000k) and 3 hours of warmer light which is suppose to help plants grow (650nm). The aglae is appearing on plants and on the glass and even on my heater and pH reader. Its hairlike, black and grey
How can i eliminate this?!?! Any help will be appreciated. I have some plecos. oto cats and ghost shrimp in the tank. I am thinking of just wiping out the entire tank and giving it a good cleaning but before doing that i would like to know if there are any alternatives.
Thanks,
Mike
