Hi guys!!!

My siamese algae Eater is eating my shrimp babies.. so decided to take them out of my tank... But I'm not able to catch them.. pls suggest some ideas to take them out without disturbing my aquascape which is densely planted.

Still my best method to put in a large net against the glass, open it up to one side and use your other hand to usher it into the net.

But yeah, SAE's are tricky.

Use a bottle trap with some food in it. Place it in there at night and in the morning you should have him.

Here's a link to making the trap - Water Bottle Fish Trap
any plastic water bottle will do. I added string to the bottle so I didn't have to stick my arm all the way down to the bottom of my 75 gallon.

Be aware you may also catch a few shrimp. Maybe use the string to suspend it off the bottom a bit, might deter some of the shrimp...
