Hello guys if I've worked out how to post pictures from my phone you should be able to see my spec v, ill like advice on a plant for the back right hand corner.Im using the stock light and not dosing anything at the minute, my water is fairly hard with a ph close to 8

Sounds like you want something that is easy to grow and fairly low maintenance. I've always liked water sprite, and it grows like woah when it gets established.

Yeah you got it low maintenance is the key! I've got lots of other tanks so wanted this one to be a quick water change once a week and done, I've only used very fine gravel for substrate so that limits things aswell, is water sprite the same as wysteria?

+1 on the Water Wisteria, in my low tech tank I've got four large healthy clumps of Wisteria that all came from a single half-price half-melted bag at Petco, hard to kill and easy to replant. Doesn't melt like my crypts when I'm too bossy with the gravel vac.
