What do you all think about my stone placement in my tank? The tank is a 2.5 gallon tank with Eco/Flourite substrate. I think I will be growing just UG or Lilaeopsis. Would a lower growing plant such as HC or Glosso be better or should a grass-like plant work?

I like it a lot, the big rock off to the side looks great.

A carpet would look really good with maybe some dwarf blaxia

Just a little too far right... remember the golden rule of thirds. You need 1/3 of the open space to be on the right of the pointy mountain-like rock. As for plant selection; hairgrass would work, but you wouldn't see much of the rock and perspective would be off a bit in my opinion. I would go for a shorter plant like HC or Glosso. A bit of a steeper slope would help too. I hope I'm not being too critical... you did ask... good luck.

I was wondering if maybe it was a bit far over. I wasn't sure if the rock on right should start/end at the third or be centered on it. I'm also thinking about some nice low cropped moss stones. It'd definitely be easier maintenance.

Move it a tad to the right, and then plant something of "Interest" at it's base.

Think of the tank as a photo. The tip of the rock will grab you first glance then let the downward slope bring your eyes to the "POI" (point of interest) in the center.
