Just wanted to drop a line in here and say hello. Been away from the Hobby a couple years but working on putting my tank back together now.

I look forward to trading, selling, and buying from some of you fellow illinoisains in the future!

I'm glad you are able to get back into the hobby and good luck with getting your planted tanks set up. My guess is you'll be making a few trips to the good fish stores they have in the Chicago area.

Thank ya. Got both of my tanks (75G) up and running now. I have one dedicated to plants that gets excel and ferts, it has Cherrys and amano shrimp as well as 7 ottos. In the other one I am trying to simulate a blackwater type environment. Peat and lots of driftwood, It has plants just not my focus. Mainly using the plants to give fry a hidng place. I'm hoping it encourages my fish to breed. Got some rasboras and Glo lights in there.

Got some earred watermoss available for trade for any takers. If your ever in the Dixon area you can pick some up for free. It's already completely filled my black water tanks surface.
