Wow! I didn't know there was a group of aquarists from NM on this website forum. Really cool! I've had a fully planted, pressurized CO2 aquarium since January 2015. I'm still new at it, but learning a lot. Things are going pretty well, I'd say. I've a had some bumps in the road, but have been able to solve them with online research mostly. I find that the forums I'm a member of are hit or miss regarding getting helpful responses. But I'm still glad to be a part of them. Just wanted to say HELLO! Happy fish keeping!

I was born and raised in Las Cruces. There have been times when there were great fish stores there, not so much when I've visited lately. Welcome to the group.

Thanks for the welcome. I agree there are really no good fish stores here. I had hopes when Better Life Foods opened their second store, but now they cater mostly to saltwater folks. I do buy a plant from them now and then. They usually have nicer plants when I just need one or two. Otherwise, I order most everything from the web. I still like to go in there because the guy who takes care of the fish is very knowledgable and nice. Nice to know you're here too!
