Nice to see that there are some people from this part of the country on here. I am a member on another forum, as well, but I haven't been able to find any locals over there (no regional section).

I've been in the hobby since the beginning of March, so less than a year. I got bit by the bug pretty good and already have four tanks haha

I was curious if we ever have trade shows or if there are clubs here in town. I tried doing google searches for clubs around here, but wasn't getting any results. I dunno if I was just stupid and not looking in the right places, or if there really weren't any clubs around here.

i don't think there is. i have been looking as well. It would be nice if there was a convention er something here.

Yeah, would be great if there were trade shows and stuff. I order everything online. I used Clarks for two of my tanks, but their prices are outrageous and they always seem to be rude to my wife and I when we go there...

Yea best bet is to order online or buy from the handful of local hobbyists. There are no clubs that I'm aware of but you can always start one!
