Yes I know its sounds like a song,but I have a problem with a thick film on the water that looks like a fog.When I stick my hand in the water and remove my hand the film turns my hand green and the bubbles from the buubles caused by my hand disturbing the water also look greenish in color...I dont over feed and I change 50% of th ewater in my tank weekly and it comes right back.I havent change food companies or anything so I am at a loss on this one.

Could be the start of green water or just protein film on the surface.

My advice would be to search the tank and confiscate all lighters and rolling papers.
