What would be considered a reasonable price for 40 & 60hr heating packs ??...A link to a good source would be greatly appreciated!
Also what is the average shelf life on a newly manufactured pack??

I buy mine on www.aquabid.com Just do a search for heat packs and there are several to pick from.

40 hour $1.00, 60 hour $1.50, 72 hour $1.65

For my convenience, I purchase the 60 hour packs.
If the seal on the bag isn't broken shelf life is essentially indefinite. Experience wise, I know the hand warmer size can work fine after ten years.
