just got some potted hc for my new tank. should i take it out of the pot or leave it in?

any advice on how to take care of hc?

Well, if you want potted HC, then leave it in the pot, if you want a lawn
then you'll need to plant it which will require removing the pot.

HC needs light, lots of water with good Co2 diffusion/flow and nutrients.

best bet is to plant them in little sections and they will just grow in like a carpet.
