Has this ever happened to anyone?

I have a Khuli loach in my 20g tank. For about 2 weeks he has been thought to be KIA. This evening I was cleaning the Fluval 205 and I noticed the little bugger (Coolio) swimming around in the filter. Has this happened to anyone for an even longer period of time or am I just lucky? He also did this the first day I got him (luckly that day was also filter cleaning day also) which promped me to rubberband some filter floss to the intake of the filter to prevent him from doing that again (which he found a way to do it, again). So it turns out he was only MIA and he has been returned to the main tank to live out the rest of his life hopefully out of the filter.

Most loaches are river fish and like currents. It may have swam towards/into your filter, thinkging that it was swimming into the current and going upstream.

X2. My freshwater gobies are stream fish, and have occasionally gotten into the HOB before I moved them into the 58. It has a 2126. At $20.00 a piece, I was more than a little relieved to find them in there after thinking they didn't "work out".:icon_lol:
