I saw these advertised for use in a pond - I wonder if any can be used in a tank.

I haven't tried them but I don't see why not. That star duckweed might grow out of control in your tank though... Maybe not "out of control' but I would assume you would have to do allot of pruning.

I'm trying Nymphoides cristata. Just arrived yesterday, look good: big roots under the surface. I'm even trying one planted (completely submerged) they sent me so many. (aquariumplants.com)

Any experience with these, any reports? Info is scant.

Lemna trisulka needs bright light and cool water. If you can do that it should grow. The bladderwort grows well in aquariums, so well it can be harder to eradicate than duckweed. I don't know about the other three.

You can see the Nymphoides growing in my 55 update. Once the tuber is anchored down, which takes some serious sand/rock weighing down, the lily pad shoot towards the surface really quickly.

I'm sold, they're fast growing, quite different, complement Apogenton and quite pretty in their own way.
