Not sure if this is the right place for this post, but I was wondering if anyone has tried the "ebb and flow" method for dry start? What was your experience? I can only find a few brief posts on it and I would like to know more. I'm interested in trying it out.

I'm currently doing a dry start on my 12G Long (journal is in my signature) and have been starting to get some "webs" on my substrate; old leaves are starting to yellow as well. I'm cutting back on misting, since the problem might be aggravated by excess moisture.

Also, thinking of adding some springtails into the dry start if I don't do the ebb and flow method. Any thoughts on that?

Thank you!
