So apparently on Youtube, aquarium water bottle "gardens" are a new trend or something. has anyone heard of these? or tried one? obviously a fish cant live in them but could you kind of "hydroponics" this. doubt it but just an idea.

Not new at all. There's one gentleman (that is google-able) that's had a submerged bottle garden sealed and thriving for over half a century! It's pretty neat.

Is that that guy who is like in his 60's and has that glass bottle with the plants growing it in for practically his whole life? really cool
