My Aqueon Evolve 8 pump is making a ticking noise just wondering if anybody found a non Aqueon replacement pump?

I contacted them about my 2's pump being noisy, the sent me a new one for free, the did not even ask how old it was or for any proof, and it is the same pump that is in the 8

Thanks Stone454 for the tip,but the pump just died. Hopefully Petsmart has pumps or an internal filter.

Installed a temporary filter emailed Aqueon.

Mine was over 6 months old.....they did not ask for a receipt or anything

i put in azoo's smallest pump. works fine in my 3 evolve 4s. one is a little noisy but its hitting the sides

I just replaced mine with Aquatop NP-80 pumps. Much quieter, take up less space, and the suction cup feet don't fall off. It's not as powerful as the stock Aqueon ones, but I don't want a lot of flow in mine. Turned up all the way should still be nearly as effective.

I did have to hose-clamp the tubing on the pump though.

If you have a harbor freight near you, they carry small pumps for pretty cheap.

Yea they asked for the receipt hopefully they send me one anyway. Got to find sometime to head over to the LFS.

lol, mine just died the other day. replaced with one from petsmart
