Dito on the carpet! It must take alot of maintenance. I could NEVER get my glosso to grow so low and stay so compact. Constant trimming to keep the glosso from pilling up on itself to let the roots breathe is such a hassel.

i LOVE where the HC meets the Marsilea in the foreground.
It' not Marsilea, it's Glossostigma elatinoides ;)

looks great! i really like your carpet, how long did it take to fill in?
This tank have 4 1/2 months. I started with a little bit of Glosso, but under good conditions, the growth is very fast.

Not, that requires only little maintenance. With a very powerful lighting like HQI, and a good fertilization, the carpet of Glosso remains very ready ground and very compact! And the injection of CO² must maintain a rate rather high and constant, if not the glosso tends "to go up" indeed.

oh la la! que magnifique!
Thanks, your French is really very good. It is a sympathetic reception !

Thank you with all for your comments :icon_bigg ;)

Nice tank,

Haha, you better trim that Gloss soon!

You might consider trying to limit the NO3 down to about 5ppm or so and then not dose for 1-2 days and then see how the reds come out.
Do not do this for long however(1-2 days).
Plants can stunt if so. The color will come out more.

Nice fish shots!

Tom Barr
