Hi all,

I was hoping someone could help me ID if this is hair or thread algae. (Sorry the pictures are fuzzy, I can't figure out how to take clear close-ups with this camera)

Once we figure out what kind it is, can someone chime in with what causes it? It's not rampant in the tank yet, but I want to stop the problem before it gets out of hand.

46gal bowfront
96w coral life light
EI dosing for a 20-40g tank
Decent amount of plants in there, lots of stems, a couple of anubias, dwarf sag and microswords.

Thanks!!
