It looks like spirogyra to me. It looks like what my girlfriends tank has. I have been battling it for a while.

Would someone be able to ID this algae? Showed up after a 4-day backout (oh the irony).
Hair Algae and Spirogyra look so similar, I can't be sure if its either one or something I missed reading up on entirely?. It is green and slimy.
