On the Hagen 48" dual T5 fixture can you only run one bulb? I don't need/want the light from two bulbs right now just one. I'm guessing it's like most and it needs a bulb in place to function.
Correct, you can NOT run jus one bulb in their double blub fixture. I have the double over my 72g right now and as i wanted to start out with one bulb im glad i went with the double as it is better lighting and no bad side effects as of yet
I'll just order the single from DFS, I prefer to use Marine Depot here in CA but they don't offer it. Also I figure the single will have a much lower resale value when I decide I don't want it. lol
