I'm on a budget and I really can't afford to upgrade my CO2. I'm still getting more algae then I'd like, and I'm wondering what is the best next baby step I should take that would give me the most bang for my buck. Keep in mind I'm still on that budget that i mentioned in the first sentence.
I have a gravel substrate, and a handful of plants in my 29gal tank. I leave my lights on for 8 hrs a day. I have two T5 Dual 30" fixtures. I turn on 1 for the first hour, then both for the next 6 hours, and then turn off 1 for the last hour. I have a hagen CO2 Generator that bubbles about 1 bubble every 10-20 seconds, and I have a Marineland Emperor 280.
What do you think would give me the best bang for my buck to improve my tank?
