I have BBA in my 55. Its been there for a while. I've removed some plants leaves that were affected. Its on my driftwood too. I read that you can spot treat it with Excel in a syringe, and Hydrogen Peroxide too. Is the peroxide safe to put in a tank with fish and plants?

Can I use the peroxide while the tank is full with water? I can't really remove the driftwood as it will dislodge the nearby plants. Advice please :icon_sad:

Yes, you can use hydrogen peroxide to spot treat BBA on your driftwood.

Just turn off all your filters/powerheads, let the water settle down for a minute or two, and then using a syringe, you can spot treat the algae.

Usually 1 mL / gallon is safe, but I usually use half that amount.
