i just wanted to let everyone in on my diy co2 progress.

i recieved my xp1 yesterday afternoon, hooked it up at about 10pm (running like a champ!), i put my discard a stone under the intake of the filter. the water coming out (of the outflow spray bar) has barely any co2 bubbles in it at all, if there are any there very tiny!

let it run all night like that, and this morning checked my parameters and they ater as followes.

dkh-2.5-3.0
ph-6.4
co2ppm-30-36

i just got my ladder diffuser today but im not sure if i should even mess with it. im at about 30ppm of co2 as i type.

what do you think?

How are you testing your CO2 ppm?

i use a drop checker (4dkh) for a vague reference. i also use a red sea ph test kit and a aquarium pharm. kh test kit to arrive at my numbers. why do you ask?
