GWAPA Meeting July 28th with Karen Randall

I'm looking to attend my first GWAPA meeting this weekend. How do the meetings usually work and how long do they usually last? I have something else to attend at 5 PM in Woodbridge which means I'd need to leave Reston by 4 PM at the latest.

People usually socialize a bit before the meeting is called to order, and the speaker talks. After the speaker, there's a brief break, and then the mini auction. You don't have to be a member to buy or sell in the auction.

I can't guarantee we'll be done by 4, but we won't hold you hostage or anything if you need to leave. Only wrinkle is that the way the auction works, you run a tab and pay at the end, which might make leaving before we're done a bit tricky.
