Hi,
I was at the pet store yesterday and I saw they had both Empire Gudgeons and Peacock Gudgeons for sale $15 per.
They seemed pretty cool. New to me at least. I was thinking of getting one or two of the empires. They appear to get a decent size, I think the peacocks are more of a nano fish?
Wondering if I should get a M-F, pair so they'll show mating colors or if two males would show more color disputing territory or if a single male would still show color?
My plan is to keep them in a heavily planted tank with a group of black ruby barbs.
