My angelfish has some sort of growth on it's fins that I can't diagnose. I have had ich in the past, but this looks different and it is only on 1 of my angelfish. It has also not spread at all to other parts of the fish

. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated so I can treat it ASAP.

So 3 months later and these spot are still here. The angelfish has trippled in size and is otherwise healthy. Should I just write these spots off?

I think they are just fin ray fractures. They are supposed to eventually reduce in size on their own. I wouldn’t worry about them, unless you see them changing for the worse, getting fuzzy or something.
